My vanilla forum is in maintenance mode

My vanilla forum is in maintenance mode. It gives the message: Forum temporarily down for maintenance. How can I get it out of this mode?

Hello,

Sorry for the problems that you are having. Maintenance mode is typically something that an administrator activates on the website. We, as the web host, would not do that. I have no way to access your forum in administration mode, but it's possible that you have either loaded a plugin for maintenance mode (for the Vanilla forum), or you have accidentally made a change somewhere. I did note that the .htaccess file for your forum (this is in the forum's directory) has code set for putting your site into this mode. You can .edit your .htaccess file and remove the code if you did not install a plugin.

In the future, please provide us information on the software you're running and the URL that's involved with the problem. I got lucky in finding this information by hunting through your files. We generally do not know what you have loaded on the web server.
