Out of Stock notice

I am trying to have my item show on the website even if it is out of stock, Magento version 1.9.0.1 .If it is out of stock have a message ( show out of stock ). Everything I see says got to SYSTEM/SETTINGS ( I don't have a SETTINGS option under my SYSTEM tab, only Notifications-System/Cache Management/Index Management.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble displaying Out of Stock products in Magento. From what I can find, you should be able to set them by going to: Configuration > Inventory > Display out of stock products = Yes
