I have no idea what I am doing. I am not technical at all. I installed Joomla through softalucous because I thought I would be able to use Joomla to help design my website (diy). It doesn't look like that is what it is for and I am even more confused now. Please help. Should I uninstall Joomla? What exactly did I do by installing it? Thanks

Hello mladas1,

Thank you for your question. There are over 280 options for designing your website in Softaculous. When you install software from Softaculous it simplifies the installation, and sets up the software in your account. Joomla is considered a good option for designing a site, but may not be the best choice for a beginner.

I would recommend Concrete5, or Wordpress for people new to web design Since they are considered easy to use.

We also have Education channels setup for both:
Concrete5, and Wordpress

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.
Thank you,
