Our WordPress website was designed by someone else. I am trying to change pictures they installed on Pages but am not sure of the process. Could you please walk me through it?

Hello!

Thanks for posting your question regarding changing images on your WordPress site pages. You may need to contact the previous designer to obtain the credentials to log into the WordPress Dashboard to be able to modify the website's images. Then you will be able to follow the steps below:

Once logged into WordPress click on Pages from the left side menu.

Click on the name of the Page that you want to change the image on. This will open the Page Editor.

Click on the image you wish to replace. Then, click on Pencil Icon from the menu that appears.

Click on the Replace button below the image preview.

If you wish to use your own pictures, select an image from the media library and then click on Insert Media in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. In order to add pictures not in the library, click on the tab labeled Upload files. You can drag and drop pictures into the screen, or select the Select files button in order to add your images. Click on the image file that you wish to use once you have completed adding your image(s) to the Media Library.

Once you have selected your image, click on the button in the bottom right hand side labeled Replace

If you are satisfied with the pictures in your page, click on Update in order to save your changes.

I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Carlos E
