Hello Clare,

Typically, it's difficult for to provide for support for ALL third-party plugins (there are thousands) that are available for the variety of software that you will be able to access through Wordpress or other software available in the hosting package. Usually, your best resource is the maker of that plugin.

However, I did spend a little time searching through a Google-search on the plugin that you installed. I finally found a good set screenshots for the NEXTGEN gallery plugin. They don't provide a way to set a "header" photo, but they do provide a way to custom the sort. I believe that typically the FIRST image displayed in the group of images is the one showing for that set of images. This setting is found in the GALLERY tab. Checkout this link for a pretty good tutorial on the plugin: how to use the NextGen Gallery plugin in Wordpress

If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

Regards,

Arnel C.
