I can't view my Wordpress blog, I get the "under construction" page.

I just bought a domain name here at webhostinghub, and installed Wordpress. I started building the site, which btw is www.livingworldwise.com, but I can't view my own site. It says that it is under construction and i have NO CLUE what to do about it.

I have been searching the internet for days to find the answer, and each time I read about going into my file manager in my cPanel, and find files that are named index.php. I found one, and just deleted it. But that didn't help anything.

Frankly, I have no clue what I'm doing! I thought it would be simple. I have no idea about 'deleting or creating files in my file manager'. I just want to write on my blog. I wasn't expecting these technical elements :) Or is there some simple solution that I am just not seeing?

Help would be so much appreciated, especially if you can give a VERY basic explanation...

BTW since I deleted the index.php file from my wp-admin file, I can no longer access my dashboard, which has now become a white screen. I recreated the file by simply click 'new file' and add that name. Didn't help any though.

Is this irreparable damange? I hope not! Please help... thanks!!

It looks like you just removed your index.php from your public_html directory which will cause your WordPress site to not work as all websites require an index.php as it is what loads immediately when visiting the site. I have re-created the default WordPress index.php file for you and you will be able to see your site now.

Thanks so much for helping! Now I can preview some of my pages such as livingworldwise.com/blog.

However, I still can't see my dashboard. When I press dashboard I link to http://livingworldwise.com/wp-admin/index.php and it is just a blank page.

Also, when I go to www.livingworldwise.com, it still says that it is "under construction".

What to do?

Thanks again for fixing my problem earlier. I can now also see my blog, and I have access again to my dashboard since I reinstalled Wordpress.

So problem(s) solved!
