Recently, my website started having problems when viewed on mobile devices. When viewed on a phone, the home screen appears fine but you cannot navigate to any other pages because clicking on the "menu" gets you nowhere. Nothing happens. When viewed on my iPad, portions of the home page and another page are cut off before the end of the page. I was not always having these problems. They started recently.

The webhostinghub customer service person suggested that I add a wordpress mobile plug in and sent me this article: http://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/plugins-optimizing-wordpress-site-mobile/ I don't know a bloody thing about building websites, though, so I have no idea which one to choose.

Please help? Is a plugin the best way to go considering the issues I'm having? If so, which one?

Hello,

Thank you for your question about viewing your website on a mobile device. Since Browsers/devices are updated regularly, there are times when your website must also be brought up-to-date. It is difficult to say the "best way" to accomplish this, as it depends on how your specific site was built/developed.

Since your site was built using WordPress, I recommend using a responsive Theme. This means it recognizes and responds to different screen sizes.

You can easily find themes via your WordPress Dashboard. many of the themes are already Responsive.

Once you have found the theme, it can be easily Installed in the WordPress Dashboard.

The plugins suggested in the link may be good options, but I recommend trying them to see which one suits your needs. Since I have not tried any of them personally, it is difficult to say which will meet your needs.

Here is our helpful guide on Searching for and Installing Wordpress Plugins.

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.

Thank you,
John-Paul
