Hi,

Did you guys change anything that would have to do with me now getting a Error 406 - Not Acceptable message when changing Permalink Settings? I was able to make this change before and now I can't. Was not sure if this has to do with the attacks reported last week... Thanks!

Thank you for your question stevens!

looks like your site is causing mod_security to flag something. Mod_security is a security scanner that prevents code injection. We can turn this off or you can try to find what is causing it with your url's. Usually foreign languages being pass through the browser url is a cause. Please see the following link on this.

Disable mod_security via cPanel Modsec Manager

We recommend finding the cause of the error; however, if you have many pages causing this you can have tech support disable mod_security for you.

Best Regards,
James R
