Why are recent posts showing on several WordPress pages?
I am creating a site in Word Press. One page is for Posts. On several of the other Pages, I see the most recent Post displayed at the bottom of the page.
Please tell me what part of the screen/page is controlling this as I don't want them displayed.
I am using Twenty Eleven 1.3 for the Theme.

Hello, I'm sorry you're having trouble with recent posts showing on some of your pages. This is most likely due to the template chose for those particular pages. Please log into your WordPress dashboard and edit one of the pages this is happening on. In the page attributes area (right side of the page) you will see a drop down menu where you can choose the template for the page. Please try changing this from the Showcase Template to the Default Template and click the Update button to republish the page to your WordPress site. This should remove the Recent Posts area from that Page. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance. |
