wordpress .htaccess file not found in main wordpress install directory

I tried to make the changes required for wordpress, but www.drifterstudios.com does not have an .htaccess file in the main directory. How do I complete this fix with out it? Password directory is www.drifterstudios.com/wp-admin/admin

If for some reason your WordPress site does not have a .htaccess file, you may either copy it from the WordPress codex, or you could simply enable permalinks which would automatically create it for you.
