I would like to take my website down to work on it, without deleting any of the content in it. Can you please tell me how to do this?

Hello,

Thanks for the question about how to take your website down without deleting the content. This can be done in a number of ways. My recommendation is that you create an under construction page, then add a temporary redirect (302) so that all of your page requests are sent to your under construction page. If you have a site using WordPress or other software, you may also want to see if you can get the maintenance mode plugin/addon/extension - it does basically the same thing as what I just described.
