I just transferred a domain and changed the name servers to webhostinghub, but my site wont load? At first I got a MySql error saying could not connect to database, then it stopped loading altogether. Do i need to append my passwords and user name in my php configuration file with my user name?

Hello benjh7,

Thank you for your question. Yes, you will have to add your username and password to the configuration file. If you haven't already imported your Database, here is a helpful guide on how to accomplish that.

Then, you must create a database user and add them to the database.

I looked at your site files, and and was unable to determine what CMS you are using. Here is a helpful article that lists where the configuration file is located for all the major CMS'.

If you reply with the specific program, I can provide a more detailed answer on how to update the configuration file.

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.
Thank you,

Hi,
I have changed the configuration file to include my username and have found no change. I am using hand coded php for website.
I have the same files on my testing site and everything works fine.

Hello benjh7,

I checked your settings in the configuration file, and your Hostname, and password were not entered correctly.

When I updated them, it began to work. I left your original settings there (commented out), so you can compare the settings or revert back.

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.
Thank you,

Hello benjh7,

I checked your site and it is working for me without any issues. Is there a specific link that is not working?

Have you tried clearing your browser cache?

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.
Thank you,
