Did a standard WP install and there are 500 internal server errors for the plugins and appearances (themes) pages in the WP admin. Can you please take a look?

Hello,

Thank you for your question. The issue you are experiencing is due to the verison of WordPress versus the version of php that is being defined by your htaccess file located in your home directory. There is a single line of code you need to either delete or comment out. The code looks like this:

AddHandler application/x-httpd-php52 .php

You can edit that file via the File Manager.

Once that is done, you should have no problem accessing any area of your admin dashboard.

Kindest Regards,
Scott M
