Hello,
I worked on our new website through a subdomain and it;s now time to copy all the files to the old root domain.
I followed the instructions here: http://www.webhostinghub.com/help/learn/wordpress/move-different-folder

nothing happened!
Any tip?

I created a redirect in the meantime.
Thanks!

Hello,

Sorry for the problem with moving your WordPress site. If you followed all of the directions to move your site, then it should be okay. You need to make sure that your browser cache has been cleared before trying to view the site. In order for us to check it, we would need to know the domain name involved in the move. You can also contact our live technical support team in order to get immediate and private assistance.

If you have any further questions, please let us know.

Kindest regards,
Arnel C.

Hello philaflam,

Thanks for posting your question!

If you remove the redirect and have followed all the steps outlined in that guide, then I recommend reviewing the site in a Private Browsing Session. This is an alternative to deleting your browser cache. It will create a session without deleting the cache, and will only use cache from the current "private" session. So every time you need to test your site, test it in a new Private Browsing Session, to test without caching.

If you are not concerned with deleting your browser cache, you can always just clear your browser cache before testing this kind of change to your site.

I hope this helps. Otherwise, I recommend contacting our Live Support for further assistance.

Sincerely,
Carlos D
