Opencart Email Notifications Not Working....Please Help!

Opencart notification emails are not working! They will not send. i have tried using Smtp and nothing happens. I'd prefer to use the PHP. Checked with hosting and they said it is an opencart issue.

Thank you for your question about email notifications in OpenCart. I would first double check your SMTP settings for any typos or misspelled words. Here is our guide on Configuring Mail Settings in OpenCart 1.5, in case you need it.

If your problems persist, try sending an email message from OpenCart to an outside address (one not associated with the website).

Do you ever get any error messages, or bounced/returned email? Error reporting in OpenCart can help when you need more information on a problem your site is having.

Also, Live Support can help you review the email logs for any errors while you are trying to send emails from your website.
