zen cart in maintenance modeIn this guide we will show you how to put your site in Maintenance Mode. This allows you to notify people that you are making changes to your website, and to check back later.

I recommend using this option during off-peak hours, so it does not affect your sales.

How to Put Your Site in Maintenance Mode:

  1. Login to the Zen Cart Admin Panel.
  2. In the menu, roll your mouse over Configuration, then click Website Maintenance.
  3. From the list, click Down for Maintenance: ON/OFF, then click the edit button to the right.

  4. Change the setting to True to enable maintenance mode. Customers will now see a notification of maintenance when they visit your site. Change the setting back to False to return to normal mode.

Congratulations, now you know how to put your Zen Cart website in maintenance mode!
