Hi,

The domain with which I first registered with WHH is www.xxxx.com, and I soon after created an addon domain named www.yyyy.org. I have created, successfully logged into, and tested email with yyyy@yyyy.org. However, I have been unsuccessful adding this email as a POP3 account with a corresponding gmail address. I followed these instructions exactly:

http://www.webhostinghub.com/support/email/email-client-setup/how-to-send-your-email-using-gmail

...to no avail.

In step 3, I entered: yyyy@yyyy.org

In step 4, I entered:

yyyy@yyyy.org

mail.yyyy.org Port 110

When I click Add The Account, I get a red error message saying that I was unable to connect to the email server.

What I am I doing wrong?

Hello jjp,

I was able to create a test account for both domains and successfully add them to a gmail account as POP3 without issue. Your settings look correct.

If you can, I would like to check your settings from Google by having you send some screenshots of them to us at docs@webhostinghub.com. Be sure to validate your account with either the last 4 digits of the credit card on file, or the current Account Management Panel (AMP) password. As we do not actively monitor that address, be sure to leave a comment below so we know the information was sent.

Best Regards,
Scott M
