When you are subscribed to the McAfee Email Protection service, we require that you have an outside email address (email not associated with your account) setup in cPanel. This is connected to the McAfee Administration account which is where you can create rules that affect all email users.
In this tutorial we will show you how to locate and change the Admin email address in your cPanel.
How to View the Admin Email for McAfee:
- Login to the cPanel.
- Click the McAfee Email Protection button under the Mail section.
On the bottom you will see the Email address that is associated with your McAfee Email Protection.
How to Change the McAfee Admin Email:
- Follow the above steps to view the Admin email address.
- In the McAfee Contact Email field enter the new email address you want to use, then click the Update button.
This may take a few minutes to complete, when the updating message disappears, it has been saved.
