High Sierra Users

Safari

Since Safari is included in the Mac High Sierra OS, you simply need to make sure your Mac OS is updated to ensure that your Safari web browser is updated. The following steps will describe how to update Mac OS from the App Store.

  1. Type 'system preferences' into the Spotlight Search to the right, in your menu bar. Under Top Hits, double-click to open System Preferences.

  2. Click on the App Store icon.

  3. Click on the Check Now button.

  4. The App Store will open, check for updates, and then display the available updates (if any).

  5. Click on the Update button next to MacOS High Sierra.

Firefox

Mozilla Firefox automatically detects the version currently installed and will download and install the latest version. The following steps will describe how to check the version of Firefox and update automatically.

  1. Open Firefox.

  2. Click on the Firefox drop-down menu from the menu bar.

  5. Click the Relaunch Now button to restart and complete the update.
