Wordpress

Wordpress was originally designed for blogging, but the ability to offer downloadable products can be added to it. One of the most popular plugins for selling products in Wordpress is WP e-Commerce:

VirtueMart

Virtuemart is a free, open source extension for Joomla! that adds eCommerce functionality. It does not include the ability to sell downloadable products, but you can purchase an extension that adds this option. PrestaShop

Products like ebooks, music or images can be added as Virtual Products in the PrestaShop catalog, and sold. First you must create a product category:
